Scope and Features †
The objective of Major in Intelligent Systems Engineering (ISE) is to foster competent human resources able to take a leading role in the field that highly integrates computer and mechanics. The graduates are expected to have a broad perspective, international competency and expertise in both applied computer science and mechanical engineering.
Major of ISE consists of three sub-disciplines: Intelligent Mechanical Systems, Intelligent Manufacturing Systems and Intelligent Information Systems.
Students can acquire both knowledge and skills of computer, mechanics and their integration while they are majoring in one of three sub-disciplines.
Based on fundamental subjects provided in the undergraduate program in Department of ISE, Major in ISE offers curriculum content of advanced knowledge about information and mechanical engineering, integrated technologies of computer and mechanics, as well as upskilling of practical abilities.
Students are also required to have common subjects to cultivate a broad perspective with the trend of globalization. Through the subjects such as the advanced study and advanced research, students are able to develop their problem-finding and -solving abilities, and communication skills via interactions with their supervisors.
